Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our customers.

Duties will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries
  • Rate confirmations
  • Prepare and check invoices
  • Answer queries in relation to invoices
  • Input delivery notes
  • Chase releases for the following day
  • Go through landing times
  • Rate all jobs on tariff in place or by quote on email
  • Chase PODs
  • Check outstanding shipping lines which are not advised on the delivery note
  • Quoting for jobs and process once these are confirmed
  • Liaising with operations and accounts to resolve queries
  • Any other duties as required

 

What We Need From You:

  • Current experience of working in customer services within a busy traffic office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both verbally and written
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under your own initiative and also part of a team
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications
  • Excellent organisational skills
